The Tabu collection comprises over 600 different veneers across multiple wood species. Using innovative water based colorants the veneer is through-dyed for consistency, colour depth and stability.
Available in every conceivable shade, Tabu veneers combine colour with all of the inherent characteristics you’d expect from natural wood.

The Tabu Story
Over its 100-year history, Tabu have perfected the art of dyeing veneer. Based in Lombardy, in the centre of the Italian furniture making industry, the company has innovated dyeing techniques to achieve reliable colourfastness from log to log — even when grappling with individual natural characteristics.
The company’s 430,000 sq foot facility is equipped with solar power, advanced filtration, ozonisation systems and heating systems fuelled by timber offcuts to ensure planet-friendly operations.
The Tabu Laboratory conducts ongoing research, development and testing. This technological expertise is boosted by classic Italian design flair to bring the most beautiful veneers to designers and makers.
